Emma Horsfield aka The Countess

Artist

Emma, The Countess is primarily a fantasy and portrait artist who has a unique dark and provocative style which makes her work recognisable. She works realistically using traditional methods in mainly oils or pastels and has developed her own way of working and individuality through hard work and determination.

Painting is Emma’s passion and next to her family, is the most important thing in her life. She is highly motivated and determined and is now working as a full time independent artist exhibiting widely with the Misty Moon Gallery primarily but also as far as Germany where she took part in ArtCologne and has work in showrooms in Cologne and Essen. Previously she has exhibited in Scarborough Art Gallery, Coterie Gallery, Sheffield, and Wolds Village Gallery and at various alternative lifestyle festivals and events. Her work has been accepted this year into The Great Sheffield Art Show and The Festival of Erotic Arts in Edinburgh via open competitions.

Emma regularly paints portrait commissions and has done so for clients in America and Switzerland as well as in the U.K.

The Countess is a member of The Guild of Erotic Artists and will be exhibiting with them at various venues throughout the year.
